Winter Coni Trophy
Three days of sport in Pinzolo with a multisports event for children under 14.
A 3-day winter sports event
From 16 to 18 December 2022, Pinzolo will host the winter Coni Trophy, a multi-sport event aimed at boys under 14 who are FISI and FISG members.
For 12 years the Summer Coni Trophy has been held with the participation of about 3500 boys with the representatives of the various regions chosen following the regional stages, normally the Regional Discipline Championship. The Winter Coni Trophy is in its first edition and is therefore the first multi-discipline event in the run-up to the 2026 MICO Olympics. The event is organised by CONI and is aimed at enhancing sporting activity, emphasising the values of sport as fundamental elements for individual and sporting growth.
The disciplines planned are:
- cross-country and biathlon
- slalom and giant slalom
- snowboarding, halfpipe and gymkhana cross
- jumping
- figure skating, short track, curling, hockey and speed
The headquarters will be in Pinzolo, where the opening and closing ceremonies will take place and where the main competitions will be held. Some disciplines, however, will be hosted by other locations: Madonna di Campiglio, Pellizzano, Pinè, Cembra and Pergine.
