Cross-country skiing
In Trentino, geography has been kind to cross-country skiers. High plateaux, broad mountain passes and flat-bottomed valleys are scattered right across the region – and are an obvious place on which to set Nordic trails and Nordic ski centres. But having lots flat, snowsure terrain is only half the attraction. What really brings skiers here is the chance to escape into a world of extraordinary beauty. To set out each morning into a pristine natural environment, beneath a backdrop of soaring cliffs and crags, is what makes cross-country skiing here really special.
