NASR Alpine Team Event
Team ski race, urban style, in the name of fun and togetherness on the black "Aloch" slope in Pozza with big final party open to all
Nasr Alpine Team Event is a circuit of alpine ski team races in the new discipline devised by Nasr (an acronym for New Age Sport Racer) and called Urban Alpine Ski Racer. The event is a one-stage event and involves the participation of a maximum of 10 teams consisting of 6 athletes, 3 men and 3 women aged between 18 and 40. What is urban spirit? Outfit unconventional to the race world of skiing (sweatshirt and trouser cover or padded trousers); 3 runs with a points ranking obtained by adding up the runs of each competitor, so not time; desire to get together and have fun.
When and where? On Saturday, 30 March, the spotlights will be turned on at the Ski Stadium "Aloch" in Pozza, theatre of the European Cup and federal training centre for national and foreign teams, to host this unprecedented giant slalom in 3 heats of 35 gates, over a difference in altitude of 250 metres and a jump in the middle of the course to make the athletes' performance even more spectacular. The course is designed by former World Cup athlete Mirko Deflorian, supported by his team and the staff managing the sports facility. The special guests of the event will be the German slalom champion Linus Strasser, former ambassador of Val di Fassa, and the promising athlete Lara Colturi, who will also act as the opener.
The evening starts in the finish parterre at 5.30 p.m. with the presentation of the teams in the company of a special guest, Eurosport speaker Zoran Filicic. At around 6 p.m., the race gets underway in which each athlete competes in 3 runs, accompanied by a personal soundtrack chosen in advance. As soon as the challenge is over, the party continues with music by DJ Oliviero Cestari and prize-giving.
