So when we say Trentino serves stellar food, we mean it! The hard work and creativity of our top chefs is paying off.

Finally, our high standards - and rich mix of culinary traditions - are getting the recognition they deserve. Here are all of our Michelin-starred establishments.

Locanda Margon, Trento/Ravina

Not far from the headquarters of famous winemakers Ferrari lies Locanda Margon, where chef Alfio Ghezzi -awarded with 2 stars - gives local specialities such as strangolapreti a modern, gastronomic makeover.


Dolomieu, Madonna di Campiglio

Set in the DV Chalet hotel, Dolomieu showcases the cooking of chef Davide Rangoni. The Dolomieu is a laboratory of contemporary territorial cuisine, a tribute to Madonna di Campiglio and its Brenta Dolomites.


El Molin, Cavalese, Val di Fiemme

Chef Alessandro Gilmozzi opened his restaurant in a former flour mill in 1990, and has made it an essential stop for anyone tempted by the flavours and traditions of Trentino. Gilmozzi has held his Michelin star since 2008.


Gallo Cedrone, Hotel Bertelli, Madonna di Campiglio

Sabino Fortunato is chef at Gallo Cedrone (“Capercaillie” in English), where his menu features many ingredients from Trentino’s mountain valleys. Make sure you order some wine to go with your meal. The cellar at Gallo Cedrone is home to 20,000 bottles.


‘L Chimpl, Vigo di Fassa, Val di Fassa

Chef Stefano Ghetta’s creative menus avoid all the usual mountain cliches, and earned him his first Michelin star in 2013.


Stube dell'Hermitage, Madonna di Campiglio

The restaurant Stube dell'Hermitage in Madonna di Campiglio is not just about the delicious specialities of our Michelin starred chef Giovanni D'Alitta, but also about the  uniquely romantic atmosphere of this original twentieth century Stube.


Malga Panna, Moena, Val di Fassa

Set at 1380m, and offering sensational views of the Val di Fassa, Chef Paolo Donei’s restaurant serves sensational seasonal food, enriched by traditional Ladin flavours and methods.
