Revò walks for foodies
A spring weekend to savour all the tastes of local food and wine among the characteristic vòuti of Revò village.
A spring weekend to savour all the tastes of local food and wine among the characteristic vòuti of Revò village. The new edition of the Passeggiata Gastronomica (walk for foodies) returns to revive the historic town centre, supplemented with tasting sessions, shows, music and, for the little ones, games, activities and workshops in the elegant garden of the noble Casa Campia. The most significant local products will play the starring role of multiple recipes, from cheeses to mortandela, from apple to grappas, but above all the local Groppello di Revò wine will accompany all the dishes.
Revò in fact renews its bonds with tradition, history and the local territory: over the two days, you will have the chance to amble through the streets and discover its vòuti, where the village associations, coordinated by the Pro Loco, will be ready and waiting for you to taste typical local dishes and produce, always accompanied by the town’s symbolic wine. Some cellars where this it is produced will stay open for visits on Sunday.
Last but not least, the town square will play host to an intriguing culinary challenge to the clanging of ladles between local chefs as they show off their traditional local recipes.
