DESCRIPTION
The beautiful Belvedere climbing garden really is spectacular, both in terms of the view and as a climbing wall. This fascinating gym, divided into two sections, towers over the village of Nago and affords fantastic views over the entire basin of the northern part of Lake Garda. The rock is composed of compact white limestone and the routes are equipped with permanent and resin holds. The right-hand section offers slightly overhanging medium-difficulty climbs while the low-angled left section provides a series of easy routes, highly suitable for beginners.

PERIOD RECOMMENDED
Cool days in spring and autumn are definitely the best time to climb the Belvedere climbing garden as it is like an oven in summer. Winter is also an excellent period except for days when the walls are lashed by cold winds from the north.

GETTING TO THE CLIMBING GARDEN
Take the SS240dir as far as Nago and at the roundabout take the Arco road. Carry on for about 300m, then park on the left near the characteristic Belvedere car park.
From here, cross the road (be careful) then climb the track that runs up the hillside featuring a series of smooth limestone slabs which lead straight up to the climbing garden.

Section A

This section offers routes suitable for beginners and features mainly a highly compact, slightly sustained wall.
