Garda Jazz Festival - Terragnoli & Speri Duo
Two artists navigate with amused complicity between harmonies of original songs and melodies of famous standards
Two long course artists navigate with amused complicity between harmonies of original songs and melodies of famous standards. They explore new routes and venture in musical territories often uncharted, in a musical pas de deux. Multi-faceted and versatile musician, Enrico Terragnoli plays mostly guitar and bass, and is much sought-after and appreciated as both an interpreter and composer. He is also winner of several awards from specialized critics. The list of his collaborations with well-known musicians is very long. He is a member of the El Gallo Rojo collective, plays in orchestras directed by Mauro Ottolini and is the author of music for performances and ballets. Rudi Speri studied jazz guitar, harmony and arranging with M° Daccò. He performs regularly in the main Italian jazz clubs and festivals. He has written and recorded numerous arrangements for big bands beside guests such as Franco Cerri, Gianni Basso, Gianni Coscia, and has also collaborated with the most renowned Italian jazz musicians.
