Roberto Dani: one of the most extraordinary musicians in the international scene
In between pure composition and improvisation, Dani has long distinguished himself as one of the most extraordinary musicians in the international scene, author of performances that engage mind, body and sound in a seamless whole of great expressive power.
Roberto Dani's artistic research focuses on improvisation, his creative modus on the boundaries between improvised music and written music, a constant investigation of the relations among sound, body and space.
His particular style has brought him to work frequently in contemporary theatre and dance, interacting with artists such as Tadini, Baliani Paolini, Boccadoro, and recording ballet music for La Scala Theatre in Milan.
After spending time at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, he starts an intense concert activity in major international festivals and theatres, next to famous artists. Dani also took part in more than 80 studio recordings.
