Garda Jazz Festival - E.R.Z.
Enrico Terragnoli, Rosa Brunello and Zeno De Rossi
Enrico Terragnoli | guitar and keyboards
Rosa Brunello | double-bass
Zeno De Rossi | drums
The E.R.Z. project is a trio made up of Enrico Terragnoli and Zeno De Rossi, two extraordinary musicians with a wealth of experience behind them, and the rising star of the modern Italian jazz scene, Rosa Brunello.
The repertoire of the Trio consists largely of original compositions by Enrico Terragnoli, pieces characterized by a magical "contrast balance" between electric jazz, blues and mambo, which will shortly lead to a new album entitled "Minesweeper" for Caligola Records.
Enrico Terragnoli is an acclaimed musician both as a performer and as a composer. He has a long track record of collaboration with the most important musicians, and has written music for shows and ballets, as well as teaching methods for the guitar.
Rosa Brunello has followed the classic jazz routes, from the Siena Jazz seminars to the Berklee College of music in Boston, before performing with the best Italian Jazz musicians in the major European festivals. With the OMIT FIVE group, she won the award for best band at the 2011 Barga Jazz Contest and the 2011 MIUR Arts Award. In 2016 she released her second album, 'Upright Tales'.
Zeno De Rossi is a very gifted drummer and composer, a member of many jazz and contemporary music groups, including the Enrico Terragnoli Vertical Orchestra, Franco D'Andrea quartet & quintet, Enrico Rava PM jazz lab, Vinicio Capossela, Guano Padano, Houdini's cage (with Greg Cohen), and Tinissima with Francesco Bearzatti, with whom he has played all over the world.
