Albe in Malga - Malga Ploze

Friday July 10 - Malga Ploze, Val Nambrone (dawn at 5.30 am)
5.00 am: meeting at the beginning of the street for Val Nambrone. Departure on foot from Cornisello refuge parking lot.
It's really early! But if we want to live a real farmers day, it can't be different! The farmer's work starts at the first hours of the day, therefore we have to be quick and reach MalgaPloze, close to the wonderful lakes of Cornisello, just in time to do our chores!
5.30 am: dawn on the Brenta Dolomites!
We reached the mountain hut! How great! The Dolomites merge from the night like a giant at his awakening and the sun rays start to enlighten the landscape. We can hear the animals that are grazing close to the mountain hut! It's time to gather them!
5.40 am: Let's start working!
Together with the farmer we reunite the cows, who calmly browse the fresh grass of the fields! We have to milk them and collect their milk , which will then turn into tasty cheese. The farmer knows his animals one by one and he calls them by name. All the cows are Razza Rendena.
6.15 am: breakfast!

What a great taste breakfast has, especially when it's so early! The crisp morning air made us hungry! On the table there's milk, coffee, butter, marmalade, fresh bread and many other products that will definitely make us hungry!
7.00 am: Let's look around!
After the delicious breakfast, it's time to ask the farmer all the questions that pop up in our mind, regarding his job. Then the Park's guide will teach us about the plants we see, the mountain tops around us and the sounds that we hear.
8.00 am: walk at the lakes of Cornisello!
To face the day, we start walking on the street towards the lakes of Cornisello! They're like two sapphires stoned in the dark granite of the nearby rocks; they really fill our eyes with the beauty of savage nature!
9.30 am : See you soon!
Our farmers day has ended, but it'll remain a fond memory with its sights, sounds, scents and tastes!
