The amateur Val di Fiemme astrophiles reveal the secrets of the moon, stars and satellites that light up our skies from an exceptional location: the Ciampedie
St. Lawrence night is among the most awaited natural phenomena. Also known as the "Night of the Shooting Stars", it gives you the chance to stare at the celestial wonders from a unique location: Ciampedie. Soirée organised by the mountain lift company Catinaccio, with the participation of the association "Astrofili della Val di Fiemme" to watch the starry night at 2,000 metres, in the wonderful hollow of Catinaccio enlightened by the moon. Cable car exceptionally open from 8.30 to 11 p.m. (Panorama Pass is not valid). Tickets: 25 € adult return; 16 € junior return; free for children up to 8 years.
Possibility to admire the sunset over the "Roda de Vael", taking part in a guided excursion, starting from the bottom lift of the cable car at 5 p.m. Medium level hike, from Ciampedìe to the "Buja de Vael", along the so called path "Vial da le feide". Return to Ciampedie at about 8 p.m. Possibility of a refreshment, (to be paide extra) by two refuges in the surroundings. An activity with the association "Astrofilli della Val di Fiemme" will follow.
