A walk through the vineyards and terracing of Brentonico
A pleasant afternoon in the countryside surrounding the alpine villages of Brentonico and Cazzano, with a tasty snack with typical mountain products of Trentino.
You are on the Brentonico Plateau, in the center of the Monte Baldo Natural Park, an area of particular naturalistic interest in Trentino. Start your walk from the town center of Brentonico and follow the suggestive circular route through the vineyards cultivated by local farmers, until you reach the hamlet of Cazzano. At the end of the walk, make a stop by "Dal Ghingo" ice cream bar in Brentonico. Here you can warm up in the cozy typical Trentino "stube", with a fireplace and slippers on your feet, while sipping a healthy organic infusion, a spicy mulled wine or a delicious hot chocolate with cream. You can then choose to add a sweet snack like strudel or another sweet from the pastry shop, or a savory one with a platter of cold cuts and cheese served with apple chutney and homemade fig and ginger jam.
