Walks to enjoy gourmet experiences

Walk, breathe and select your menu

A conquest is a pleasure for the senses. Yes, we are convinced of it.

If your goal is to enjoy a gourmet lunch in a place that is definitely out of the ordinary, but which, in addition to pleasing your palate also knows how to fill you with the satisfaction of having worked hard for it, then today we will help you to hone pleasure, satisfaction, pride and, let's face it, maybe in a whisper..., that demanding conscience.

Do you bet that we have already won you over?

We have selected mountain huts and dairies to be reached on foot by hiking trails that are accessible to everyone and in a short time, and that know how to combine photo-worthy landscapes with dishes that, we promise, will not be easily forgotten.

Baita ai Fortini di Napoleone - Molveno

Park comfortably at the Molveno entrances, close to the beach, and then take the trail that surrounds the lake and climbs into the wood. There is plenty of signage pointing to the Baita. In about half an hour, once you have reached your destination, a green terrace of meadows will allow you to enjoy a magnificent view of the lake from above and of an old restored farmhouse, the Baita (cabin). It offers a lively menu that tastes of tradition though with decidedly virgin flavours! Menu highlight: buckwheat pappardelle or polenta gnocchi with deer meat sauce.

Rifugio Peller – Cles

The northern side of the Brenta Group offers an unobstructed view. Pastures, plateaus and rocks that seem to deceive, giving the impression that you are walking along a horizontal plateau. From the Al Bersaglio restaurant, north of Cles, continue by car on a forest road until you arrive at the Lake Dorigat parking, from where, in less than half an hour, you will reach your destination. The ingredients are exceptional. A must try: cheeses and homemade gnocchi!

Malga Venegiota - Tonadico

At the foot of the Pale di San Martino, in the lusciously green Val Venegia, in the Paneveggio Nature Park, you will be all but catapulted into an enchanted painting: majestic peaks, crystalline streams and adamantine woods.  You can leave your car at the Malga Venegia car park and, after a walk of about an hour with little height variance, you will reach your destination. Traditional Primiero dishes. Not to be missed: polenta cooked on a wood fire with tosèla cheese and sausage, and canederli dumplings in broth.

Stella Alpina Spiz Piaz Hut - Sèn Jan di Fassa

From Vigo di Fassa, in just 3 minutes, the Ciampedìe cable car takes you directly to the homonymous Belvedere, located 2,000 meters a.s.l. From there, take trail no. 540 and, in less than an hour, you will reach this former stable with hayloft dating back to the end of the 19th century, that has expanded several times over time. You are in the Vajolet basin, with a view of the Catinaccio and Sella groups. Ladin cuisine awaits you. Give a try to the ricotta and spinach schlutzkrapfen and the canederli dumplings with meat stew!

Stablasolo mountain dairy - Rabbi

In the Stelvio National Park, in the proximity of water splashes from the extraordinary Saent waterfalls, in Val di Rabbi, leave your car in the Coler car park and continue your journey on foot. To reach the dairy you will walk for 45 minutes through pastures, woods and lots of water. Here you will find an enchanting location and many animals: cows, goats, horses and pigs. Tasting locally made cheeses, the cured meat platter and homemade fettuccine is a must. Locally made genuine products!
