Pra delle Nasse
Ski school area with play park at San Martino di Castrozza
The Nasse Park in San Martino di Castrozza is an area reserved to children, to make their first approach to skiing really fun: nursery slopes include tunnels, bumps, obstacles, and cartoon characters and a magic carpet for going up the short slope.
Children have always loved sledging! The novelty of recent years is great fun for adults too: inflatables (sort of large inner tubes with coloured handles) allow you to go down dedicated slopes full of parabolic curves, spinning all the way. A special slope for inflatables - but also for bobsleighs and sledges- can be found at Nasse Park in San Martino di Castrozza (tel. +39 347.6490518). Children are carried up the slope by a magic carpet.
There are also swings, horses on springs and two play houses equipped for playing in the snow.
Opening hours: open everyday from 9am to 5pm. Cafe with baby-changing facilities.
For the youngest, the cafe serves the "squirrel snack": bread with Nutella (famous Italian chocolate and hazelnut spread), fruit juice or freshly squeezed orange juice.
