The cuorse was rebuilt by architect Marco Croze on top of the old 18-hole course, which had accommodated Austrian and English nobility since 1907. The south-facing exposure, the forests surrounding it, and the Dolomite landscape make this course a little piece of Paradise.
Today, the prestigious course has 9 holes, par 9, 1680 metres.
It is open from May to November and has challenging characteristics, which are satisfying even for the most expert and demanding golfers.
In the summer months, numerous tournaments are held here. Every year, on this course, the ”Alpine Iron Man” is held. It is a 54-hole, 12-hour non-stop game - a unique event in the golfing world.
The facility includes a practise course, a putting green, and a pro-shop, a welcoming Club House with locker rooms, a secretary’s office and a bar/restaurant, and a tanning terrace with a view over the Dolomites.
Illustrious personages who have visited the adjacent Grand Hotel Carezza and the course itself include Winston Churchill and Agatha Christie.
