The Legendary Charly Gaul UCI GRAN FONDO WORLD SERIES
A time trial, a medium and a long-distance race in the only Italian stage of the UCI Granfondo World Series, to celebrate the feat of "Angel of the Mountains" Charlie Gaul at the Tour of Italy in 1956.

The 14th Edition of “La Leggendaria Charly Gaul” - UCI Granfondo World Series, named after the Angel of the Mountains and his legendary feat at the Giro d’Italia on June 8, 1956, is eager to welcome you from July 12 to 14, 2019 in the fascinating land of Trento, Monte Bondone and Valle dei Laghi. Again in 2017, the prestigious long-distance race held in Trentino is the only Italian stage of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series and offers an opportunity to qualify for the UCI - UWCT World Cup Final for Cycling amateurs and Masters.
The time trial will be held on July 12 and will cross the picturesque villages of Valle dei Laghi and the scenic shores of Lago di Cavedine, while the medium-distance and long-distance races will be held on July 14, along two captivating paths that start off from the beautiful Piazza Duomo in Trento and wind alongside lovely ponds and through villages and vineyards in Valle dei Laghi, climbing all the way up the challenging and decisive turns of Monte Bondone to cross the finish line.
