Three days of great sport and culture to find out the high-quality welcome and to go back over the stages that have brought Madonna di Campiglio in the history of the cycling.
A legendary event that gathers some topics as health, well-being, sustainability, cinema history and cultural traditions, considering the great history that lonked Madonna di Campiglio to the Giro d'Italia. Moreover, a tribute to Marco Pantani with a time trail race Pinzolo-Campiglio.
Schedule
A mountain stage of more than 130 km, with a medium route of more than 90 km and a short route of about 4 km (suitable for all people, also with an e-bike) along the famous roads of the Giro d'Italia. A unique cycling event from the Brenta Dolomites to Lake Garda.
Friday, August 31, 2018: TWO WHEELS AND A HELMET
4 pm - Piazza San Giacomo, Pinzolo - Promotional bike ride Pinzolo-Campiglio dedicated to Marco Pantani. Arrival in Piazza Sissi in Madonna di Campiglio. Video-message of the mother Tonina Pantani and a memory of the bike champion. Paragliding to pay homage to Marco Pantani. (Free meeting, registration not necessary, open to all types of bikes).
4 pm - PalaCampiglio - Opening of the exhibition “Caricature in Giro“ by the artist Claudio Francesco Puglia: caricatures of the winners of the 101 editions of the Giro d’Italia. Free entry.
3 pm - 7.30 - Piazza Sissi, M. di Campiglio - Zumba organized by the sponsor Diavita, with tasting of products.
Saturday, September 1, 2018: BIKE TOUR
10 am-7 pm- Piano 54, M. di Campiglio - Trying the Pump Truck and the balance bike STRIDER, with professional instructors, free for everybody from 2 years. Show by Manuel Schiavo, seven times Italian champion of BMX.
10 am - Piazza Righi, M. di Campiglio - Start of the Bike Tour and lunch in the refuge (with fee).
10 am - 4 pm - Piazza Sissi, M. di Campiglio - Zumba organized by the sponsor Diavita, with tasting of products.
4 pm- Piazza Sissi, M. di Campiglio - Talk show with the guests Felice Gimondi, Francesco Moser and Gilberto Simoni.
The biologist nutritionist dott. Orazio Ragusa will talk about the topic “Eat well to live better"; the orthopaedic specialist prof. dott. Luca Deponti will talk about the topic “The medicine for the modern sportsman” and the dott. Francesco Galvanin will talk about “the importance of the microcirculation in the sport. Lucia Marzano will give some pieces of informations about the products Diavita.
Sunday, September 2, 2018: TOP DOLOMITES GRAN FONDO
8.15 am - Piazza Sissi, M. di Campiglio - Start/parade TopDolomites Vintage with the Bianchi bike. World Ambassador Norma Gimondi: a specific route to ride with your vintage or historical bike.
8.30 am - Piazza Sissi, M. di Campiglio - Start TOP DOLOMITES GRANFONDO, with Gimondi Felice
10 am - 7 pm - Piano 54, M. di Campiglio - Trying the Pump Truck with the balance bike STRIDER, with professional instructors, free for everybody from 2 years. Show by Manuel Schiavo, seven times Italian champion of BMX.
NB: the competition will take place with any weather conditions except for natural disaster; in this case half registration rate will be valid for the 2019 edition
