Very important premise: Queen are and always will be inimitable.
We have always believed that one should not look for a unit of measurement linked to physical resemblance, identical clothing, studied movements and everything else that makes a simple imitation an end in itself. We think that the best way to pay tribute to an artist is to embody their spirit, trying to interpret their thoughts, express their feeling and infuse the audience with their true artistic nature, through spontaneity, grit and the desire to play those very pieces. The result must be a sincere and heartfelt tribute to the most exciting band of all time.
Since 1995 we have played thousands of shows, in Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland. We have had positive and negative experiences, often receiving compliments and applause but also some criticism, sometimes even fierce. In all these years we have seen the proliferation of all kinds of tribute bands, including many of Queen, and at a certain point we even thought that the project had become too overblown, but we went ahead serenely, and after having sown so much, we feel that what we are reaping today we have deserved very much!
Over the years, we have grown professionally, especially since we were joined by renowned and experienced musicians such as Daniele Trambusti (ex Litfiba) and Antonio 'SuperPippo' Gabellini (Ivan Graziani, Ligabue, Piero Pelù). We have improved our performances (both technically and in terms of interpretation), we have adapted the sound and instrumentation, especially through Giacinto's amazing creation of the Red Special, with the same criteria as the original.
In addition, we have enriched our repertoire, often varying it, and we have done collaborations with prestigious Italian and international artists (including the Kerry Ellis concert) and splendid concerts with symphony orchestras. A beautiful journey of which we are proud. We are also proud of the fact that the official Italian Queen fan club "WE WILL ROCK YOU" continues to recognise us as the official tribute band in Italy. This recognition further distinguishes and qualifies our work!
