What ASIA IS ABOUT and WHAT the FUNDS ARE for: the project, started by Asia about 3 years ago, involves Nepalese mothers who have children, the elderly, livestock and land to cultivate; in fact, husbands are absent from home for long periods for work.
The beekeepers' association and in particular Fabrizio Calovi, who has travelled to Nepal, has taught some mothers how to raise bees and ensure their survival in order to produce honey. The project in the first period had a good result, but now it must be continued as we want to ensure that all new beekeepers can produce and possibly sell the honey produced to tourists and to those who want it. The goal is therefore to make these mothers economically independent who in Nepal are not considered, their presence in Nepalese society has little value.
WHO IS DROPS D'ORO BEEKEEPING: Our company has been involved in bee breeding for more than twentyyears. We are members of the Trentino Beekeepers Association, which introduced us to this project last year and has been active since the beginning in favour of Nepalese mothers. We also feel particularly close to these women and for this reason we wish to contribute COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE to the fundraising.
