Turn-by-turn directions
From Rifugio Bindesi, you follow the directions for trail 412, in the direction of Rifugio Maranza. After an initial flat section, you cross through the “Pian dei Bindesi” park (620 m). You continue on the mule track marked with trail number 412, which is quite steep in some parts. At 820 m asl, you reach the “Sass del Carpen” turn-off, where you go straight uphill, continuing to follow directions for trail 412 to reach Rifugio Maranza. The path gradually becomes steeper, and reaches the mountain hut, located at 1072 m asl.
To return, you follow the same route backwards.
VARIATION:
The mountain hut is almost entirely accessible by road coming from Povo, Oltrecastello, Passo Cimirlo.
Getting there
You reach the town of Villazzano. You travel along Via dei Colli and Via Umberto Giordano, and then Via Marzola, until you reach the hamlet of Grotta di Villazzano. You now follow directions for Rifugio Bindesi.
Parking
Free parking immediately after Rifugio Bindesi.
