Distilleria Pilzer
In Portegnac, a tranquil place just outside Faver which jealously guards its share of Valle di Cembra history, this historic distillery wins visitors over with an array of enticing aromas.
Located in Portegnac, in the Faver area, this distillery — in business since 1956 — has evolved over three successive generations while never losing its connection to the land. Over time, the range of Single-Variety Grappas has grown considerably, while comparing the distillation of local pomaces with that of pomaces from other parts of Italy has provided additional enrichment. The company also produces brandy by distilling different fruit varieties, including Williams pears, apricots, quinces and grapes. A special technique for preparing fruit purées, careful fermentation and, finally, distillation allow all of the freshness and fragrance of the fruit to be transferred into the distillates.
