Malga Vael

You then leave the uphill station, pass by Rifugio Ciampedìe and go down a sort of dirt highway (a ski slope), then walk alongside Rifugio Negritella. Shortly after you reach a junction: the path on the right goes to Conca del Gardéccia while the one on the left, keeping on the ski slope, will take you through an opening in the mountain. At the foot of Roda di Vael, at high altitude, is the mountain dairy where you can witness the different moments of alp life and taste the excellent dishes typical of Val di Fassa.
