A warm, welcoming and "homely" environment, with a great love of tradition.
The restaurant ...
Completed in 1998, this gastronomic Relais-like structure surrounded by trees is just a few minutes away from the centre of Cavalese and is renowned as one of the shining stars of Trentino's culinary panorama.
The building that plays host to Costa Salici was designed and constructed in accordance with the architectural style of the valley. The restaurant can seat up to 35 guests in its many, welcoming, little rooms decorated with the reddish tinge of its Swiss pine furnishings, one of which even boasts a locally-built stube.
Costa Salici also has a private car park and a large garden. Furthermore, it provides visitors with the opportunity to enjoy a meal in this peaceful oasis during the summer, surrounded by the splendid landscape of the Lagorai Mountain Range. The restaurant enjoys a panoramic view and is located on a perpetually sun-kissed balcony.
Chef Maurizio Tait personally runs Costa Salici together with his wife Rosalba and their son, Stefano. The restaurant was launched in 1998 and was an instant hit. Furthermore, it is featured in all of the top gastronomic guides of the country. "Many magazines from the sector and national weeklies have written about us," says Maurizio, "however, the best recognition I have ever received is the loyalty of our guests, many of which have also become cherished clients."
