Danilo Rea, Giovanni Tommaso, Pietro Tonolo, Marcello Sirignano

Jazz

Danilo Rea is without a doubt one of the brightest and most eclectic stars of Italian jazz, who has succeeded in building a resoundingly successful career out of a spirit of improvisation and originality which is typical of this musical genre, but exceptional in its expression.

Outstanding collaborations with the Italian singer-songwriter world and alongside important musicians on the international scene have helped to bolster his fame. As the leading light of a long-standing musical line-up, he will appear alongside Giovanni Tommaso on the double bass, Pietro Tonolo on sax and Marcello Sirignano on violin, as he has for many other musical sessions.

They will play against the backdrop of one of the most breath-taking scenes the Brenta Dolomites have to offer, where the gaze is drawn constantly upwards to admire them in all their majestic beauty.

In this special project, prepared specially for the festival, the audience will be drawn into the very heart of the work of Luis Bacalov, the eclectic artist of Argentinian origins whom Rea has joined on the piano on many occasions, speaking the languages of jazz and tango.
