In December 2023, Michelin-starred chef Alfio Ghezzi found his second home in Val di Fassa with the InAlto restaurant, at 2,500 metres. Here, he has taken up the challenge of cooking at high altitude, making the most of the ingredients that have always nourished the mountain people - or rather, those who truly inhabit the highlands. A balanced cuisine, in harmony with the landscape, which enters the refuge at any time of day thanks to the large windows that define its architecture. The InAlto restaurant can be reached by the Col Margherita cable car from San Pellegrino Pass, which is open exceptionally for the occasion.
Cable car departure times: 6.15 p.m., 6.30 p.m., 6.45 p.m., 7 p.m.
Cable car return times: 10 p.m., 10.15 p.m., 10.30 p.m., 10.45 p.m.
Price: € 110 per person, including dinner and and return cable car ticket.
