The beauty of this itinerary lies in particular in the amenity of the two points of interest along the route: the majestic Cascata del Lupo with a jump of over 30 meters and the site of the Earth Pyramids of Segonzano, which contains a geological phenomenon, dating back to the glacial thaw. Furthermore, relaxing paths and mule tracks that connect ancient villages, such as the silent village of Quaras, and the hamlets of Varda, Marteri and Piazze, make this itinerary ideal for those who want to enjoy slow tourism and savor the nature and tradition of these places. Most of the way back follows a stretch of the famous European path E5, undertaken every year by thousands of walkers willing to retrace this historic connection route, departing mainly from Germany and culminating in Venice. Despite the modest length, thanks to the moderate height difference, the practicability of the paths and the naturalistic points of interest, the route results suitable for all walkers, even for families with children.

From the Piazze church follow the paved road in the north directions for about 350 meters, until the beginning of the SAT E 406 path that bring you at the Cascata del Lupo. After a short stretch on the grass, the path go steep down, but safe, in the deciduous wood, until reach the valley floor. In a few minutes on the unpaved street you reach the paved street of Val Regnana, corresponding at the SAT E 406 path. After about 3 Km in hill you will arrive at the geological site of the Pyramids of Segonzano. Going up on the site path, it's possible to see from near the pyramids formed by the erosion of the territory glacial fluvius, with stops in osservation points, and the possibility to use pic-nic areas dislocated on the path. This path ends on a forest paved road, wich cuts halfway up Dosso di Segonzano, it's marked as Sentiero Europeo E5. The street leads to Quàras and here resume the Europena Path E5 (which corresponds also to the starts of the SAT E406B path), covering the ancient mule track with dry stone walls. After the valley of Rio Val Bruta, go up untill the gravel road to Bedollo, 250 meters before the town cut towards the valley always following the E5-406B path until reaching the houses of locality Marteri. The rout ends with the pleasant stroll back passing through localities of Stramaiolo, Castellani and Varda, wich offer some providential fontains.
