A "cool" trek a stone's throw from the city at the base of the Marzola
A route that winds up the western slopes of Marzola di Villazzano or Marzola Sud mountain and connects Trento's two historic refuges. The climb has a steady gradient, trivial for the trained hiker, challenging for families. The view from the Prati dei Bindesi refuge is really extensive and worth a stop at the terrace. The dense vegetation allows the ascent to be made while remaining almost always in the shade, making the hike pleasant even on sultry days. A moment of relaxation in the large meadow of the Maranza hut is a must.
