29 - Telder Tour

In Slambrot, the local version of the Cimbrian-German spoken by the ancestors of the Alpe Cimbra, the term Telder means 'valleys'. In fact, the route leads through a beautiful coppice forest (mixed deciduous and resinous) crossed by various streams, torrents and brooks. Its destination is the ancient Cimbrian 'maso cimbro' of Tézzeli, the 'village of shepherds'.

This is an easy route, within the reach of everyone, even families with children over 6 years old, which leads into the beautiful forest area separating the village of San Sebastiano from the village of Tézzeli. Coming out of the forest, the panorama of the upper Astico valley and the Cherle dosso, on the summit of which are the remains of the Austro-Hungarian fortress of the same name, is very beautiful. In Tézzeli, the painting of shepherds and transhumance is to be admired on Casa Muraro.
