Parade and concert by the band
The music band Trodena parades through the streets of the centre and performs at the events pavilion "Ischia"
It originates from a picturesque mountain village in the Monte Corno Nature Park in lower South Tyrol. The Trodena/Truden Music Band boasts a history of over 175 years, which began in 1840 with the foundation of an early band, documented by the village's teacher, Franz Egarter. Recently, the direction has been entrusted to Maestro Martino Olivieri, a young and talented multi-instrumentalist. The enthusiasm, passion and deep cohesion that bind the fifty musicians, accompanied by the sutlers, characterise the South Tyrolean ensemble. In typical Tyrolean costumes, they perform an ever-growing repertoire, ranging from popular pieces to modern and sophisticated pieces, more suited to today's taste and band instrumentation.
Parade starting at 9 p.m. from the square "Piaz de Ciampedel" and final concert at the "Ischia" events pavilion, nearby the station of the cable car "Col Rodella". Free entry. In case of bad weather, the parade is cancelled and only the concert will be held.
