Tridentino Diocesan Museum - Villa Lagarina
The 18th-century Palazzo Libera is home to an outpost of the Tridentino Diocesan Museum, where you can admire the wealth of artistic material donated to the church of Santa Maria Assunta by the noble Lodron family.
The museum itinerary, which occupies the main floor and attic of the building, treats visitors to a treasure trove of liturgical objects and art of immense interest. The collection is the result of generous endowments from the noble Lodron family, who had the right of patronage for the Villa Lagarina church. Portraits of Lodron family members adorn the halls, alongside a collection of exquisite fabrics, ancient lace and a selection of precious gold churchware.
