Tales of dwarfs and giants
Glove and stick puppet show, accompanied by singing and live music, by the Theatre Company "Corniani"
Programme: Elisa Gemelli and Alessia Puppato stage this text, written and directed by Maurizio Corniani, which unfolds in the 16th century at the "Gonzaga" court. The story, freely inspired by "I Nani di Mantova" (The Dwarfs of Mantua) by Gianni Rodari, deals with the struggle in daily life experienced by a dwarf named "Fagiolino" in a light and friendly way. Some "bullies" target "Fagiolino's" life and dreams; the dwarf will realise that life is much higher than his height, so much so that he himself becomes a "giant".
Show - only Italian spoken - produced by Maurizio Corniani of the "Centro Teatrale Corniani" of Mantua, a family of puppeteers since 1944, one of the most important and historical companies in Italy.
At 5.30 p.m. at the playground of Vigo. Free admission. Show for children from 6 years old. Duration 45 minutes. In case of bad weather at the events pavilion in front of Hotel Vael.
