Sounds of the Dolomites: Max Gazzè. Singer-songwriter. Val San Nicolò - Resort of "Jonta" (Pozza di Fassa), at 12.00 p.m.
Programme: the fragrance of sunlit meadows, the colour of the woods beginning to turn into amber and rust, the sound of a waterfall... You might be picturing some enchanted land straight out of a fairy tale, but this is a description of "Jonta" in Val San Nicolò, a place that reflects the artistic nature of Max Gazzè, who will perform in the final event of "I Suoni delle Dolomiti" (The Sounds of the Dolomites). Thanks to countless cultural encounters, this born performer has Sicilian music in his veins. His music is characterised by Mediterranean rhythms fused with Western influences, where North and South merge in a distinctive musical signature. An eclectic artist who has brought new, cutting-edge projects to events such as Sanremo Music Festival, Gazzè boasts an impressive number of albums as well as popular songs such as "L’amore non esiste", "Ti sembra normale" and many more. The artist's songs present a slice of daily life from a generation that struggled to throw off the "up-and-coming singer-songwriter" label, eventually carving out his own rightful place in the history of Italian music. Boasting a star-studded career of record releases, festivals and partnerships, as well as involvement in film productions, Gazzè is a singer-songwriter, bass player and also a painter. His quirkiness is what sets him apart, changing his vestiges several times over the years, but never his substance.
