Exciting dawn concert in the locality "Pra Martin", reachable on foot from Ciampedie, followed by Holy Mass
A new day that comes in an unforgettable way, on July 28th on Ciampedie with a "Greeting the Dawn": at 6.00 a.m. takes place the concert of the Time Rag Department performing on the meadows of the Refuge Pra Martin, 15 minutes on foot from the arrival of the cable car "Catinaccio" that opens at 4.30 a.m. for the occasion (Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer are not valid), while the sun rises in the sky, clouring the rocks of the Dolomites in pink, according to that phenomenon that is called "Enrosadira" by the Ladins. After the sunrise, the Holy Mass will also take place.
They come from Berlin traveling on a time machine to search for the authentic atmospheres of Old Time Jazz. Inspired by artists such as Duke Ellington, Paul Whiteman, Sidney Becchet and Bunk Johnson and attracted by New Orleans-style early jazz, the Time Rag Department offers ragtime jazz and swing made of fiery solos, sweet dreamy melodies and enthralling collective improvisations.
Ticket: 17,50 € return. In case of bad weather, the event will be held on the following day.
