Mountains and Full Moon in Summer

If you love walking and can’t wait to enjoy the magic of the atmosphere coloured by the red of the sunset and illuminated by the glow of the full moon, take part in the excursions organised to Lake Cei, Monte Baldo, Lessinia mountains and Monte Zugna, at night with dinner at altitude.

There will be many appointments, coinciding with the full moon, in the localities of the mountains overlooking Vallagarina.

Friday 26 April – Malga Cimana dei Presani (Lago di Cei, Villalagarina)

The route develops within the Prà dell’Albi-Cei protected area, initially skirting the small alpine lake of the same name. It then continues into the forest, climbing up the Costole ridge, until reaching Malga Cimana, where dinner will be served. Near the Malga you will be able to reach a marvellous viewpoint from which you can admire the Vallagarina. The return trip will be partially along the initial itinerary, crossing meadows and woods, and then descending to the car park.

Saturday 25 May – Monti Lessini (Lessinia Trentina, Sega di Ala) – Albergo Monte Lessini

A walk in the splendid Lessinia, a plateau of wide, gentle pastures and open landscapes, an area of particular naturalistic and ethnographic value (malghe (shepherd’s huts) and sheep-farming practices). The route will lead to the historical site of the “Busoni”: tunnels of over 100 m dating back to the First World War and then up to Monte Corno (1355 m) from where we can admire an excellent panorama of the Vallagarina.

Saturday 22 June – Rifugio Baita Fos-ce (Passo San Valentino – Brentonico, Monte Baldo)

Saturday, 20 July – Rifugio Altissimo Damiano Chiesa (Monte Altissimo, Brentonico)

You will climb up the ridge along the most beautiful path of Monte Altissimo di Nago, overlooking Lake Garda on one side and dominating the Aviana Valley on the other. You will pass wild places until you reach the summit (2078 m) and then the D. Chiesa refuge where you will stop for dinner. Return from the comfortable military road downhill.

Saturday 17 August – Malga Campei (Monte Baldo, Brentonico)

Leaving the Festa meadows behind, the route climbs steeply, immersing itself in the green foliage of the beech trees. We then continue into the forest to discover the northernmost slope of Monte Baldo, until we reach the wide open spaces of the pastures and the panoramic balcony where Malga Campei (1470 m) is located, where we will stop for dinner. The return journey is via the same path as the outward journey or along a comfortable mule track.
