The marmots’ path
Every Monday, guided hike suitable for families with children at Ciampac to discover where marmots live
Programme: easy walk of around 2 km for adults and children in the wonderful alpine meadows of "Ciampac", along the marmot path. We'll take a peek at the burrows, which are connected by long, deep underground tunnels, and amidst high-pitched whistles and clumsy runs we'll experience moments of everyday life of this friendly mountain dweller.
Excursion dedicated to families and children over the age of 3, organised by the hiking guides. Difficulty easy, no pushchair, yes backpack for children. It is advisable not to bring dogs to avoid frightening the marmots.
Schedule and meeting point: every Monday at 9 a.m. by the mountain station of "Ciampac" gondola (Alba di Canazei). Duration: about 3 hours.
Price: limited enrolment free activity, organised by "Ciampac e Contrin" lift society, included in the Panorama Pass or in the lift ticket.
