Moena in music
Different musical styles mingle in the centre of Moena, with live performances, for a rhythmic walk under the stars
The Fairy of the Dolomites turns its town centre in a picturesque promenade to let guests walk through the shops or have a drink on the terraces of the bars and cafés, delighted by swing, jazz, rock and pop notes.
The evening opens with no less than three live performances between "Piaz de Sotegrava" square, "Piaz de Ramon" square and "L Vial" avenue.
In the "Piaz de Sotegrava" square, "Nick Lee & The Marcos" await. This overwhelming trio, with their semi-acoustic line-up, skilfully mixes blues, r&b and swing, creating an enthralling musical journey. From the deep south of the United States, from the rural blues of Mississippi John Hurt and Robert Johnson, to the swing elegance of Nat King Cole, and then paying homage to the great Italian artists Natalino Otto and Nicola Arigliano: an experience to be lived intensely.
In the "Piaz de Ramon" square there will be the exciting music of the "Cajones Veggie Rock Band". The close-knit group consists of Bijù Vadagnini (vocals, cajon, flutes, hand pan), Roberto Dassala (acoustic guitar, vocals, cajon, electronics) and Marco Mattia (vocals, keyboard). The repertoire includes songs from the 1960s to the present day, although they do not miss the opportunity to play some songs in an unconventional way. The setlist includes performances with coloured sound tubes, vegetables, wind instruments or tiny guitars.
Immersed in the lively atmosphere of "L Vial" (opposite the Kusk pizzeria) will be the all-female acoustic duo "The Curls". With the warm and exciting voice of Elena Favè from Fassa and the virtuoso talent of Elisa Pisetta on guitar, the acoustic duo will accompany the evening with their greatest hits, from 80s classics to contemporary hits. An enthralling musical experience, to be listened to and danced to, celebrating songs that have become true icons of different musical genres, both Italian and international.
Event cancelled in case of bad weather.
