Medieval Tourism Festival
Several meetings to introduce the concept of “historic wine tourism” in Trentino, to convey the idea of an union between medieval history and wine tasting
On Saturday 20th October, the beautiful Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento will host the presentation conference of the V edition of the Medieval Tourism Festival organized in Trento. At the beginning of the day, local authorities will welcome the participants, then experts of the fields of wine sector, art, medieval history and culture will explore the connections among these areas and local tourism.
Later in the day, participants will have a historyexperience: a tour of the Buonconsiglio Castle conducted by experienced guides in costume to involve people in living the medieval life. Moreover, in the afternoon a winexperience will take place: a stop to the Azienda Agricola F.lli Pisoni in Perglese to “taste” Meddle Ages by having a sip of the new wine called “Mesum”.
