Marco Castelli New Organ Trio
The 26th edition of Dolomiti Ski Jazz starts at Ciampac (Alba di Canazei) with a concert by an Organ Trio led by Marco Castelli
From 8th to 17th March, the "jazz track" crosses the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme with concerts on the terraces of the refuges, in clubs, theatres and squares.
From Canazei to Cavalese, all the way to Cembra: the Dolomiti Ski Jazz proposes also this year as many as 24 concerts. Warm rhythms such as jazz, but also blues, funk and Latin music will create thrilling contrasts with the snow-covered scenery of the Dolomites. Artists from the international scene will perform in the evenings in the clubs and theatres of the villages, while during the day they will take to the mountains, on the terraces of the mountain huts, some of which can also be reached by non-skiers. The festival will move day after day from one slope to another, from the Belvedere ski area in Canazei to the Alpe Cermis in Cavalese.

Programme: Marco Castelli performs at the head of an Organ Trio, playing tracks from the latest album released with this formation. "Space Age" is imbued with spicy aromas, ranging from ska to reggae, from afro-jazz to latin. The Trio's music is energetic yet elegant, full of unpredictable colours, and absolutely unique. The repertoire includes original pieces by Marco Castelli, but also compositions by composers from different musical worlds such as Tom Waits, Dollar Brand and Armando Manzanero.

The concert is free of charge. The event location is also accessible to non-skiers. The ticket for the ski lifts (cabin lift) is paid for by the participants. The ski pass is valid.

Taste the cheeses of the "Mèlga de Fascia" in a gourmet version, thanks to the chef's imagination, paired with wines and "Trentodoc" bubbles from the "Rotari" wine cellar in Mezzocorona. € 12 per person (pasta pacchero stuffed with ricotta, chives and lumpfish roe; carne salada tartare, "Fontal" fondue and taralli crumble; "Mezzacorona" Lagrein arancina with a heart of "Cher de Fascia" and raspberry coulis).
