The Christmas Markets of the "Fata"
Moena, the "Fairy of the Dolomites", becomes a magic Christmas village with wooden houses, concerts, treats and children's carousels
Following the Northern Europe tradition, the "Fairy of the Dolomites" turns into a Christmas village, with even the Christmas markets settled in the squares "Piaz de Ramon", "Piaz de Sotegrava" and "Perla Alpina". From November 26th to January 8th (November 26th and 27th, December 3rd and 4th, from December 8th to 11th, December 17th and 18th, from December 21st to January 8th - closed on December 25th), it will be possible to walk through the joyfully illuminated town-centre, through tiny fires and 17 traditional wooden houses and buy artisanal objects and souvenirs to remember the holiday in Moena. By the gardens, The children can play and get on the carousel with the elfs from the wood and attend some amusing shows in the "Perla Alpina" square. In the square "Piaz de Ramon", children will have the chance to take part in some creative animated workshops. The athmosphere in the square "Piaz de Sotegrava" will be enriched by music events, while an indoor area will be dedicated to children for activities and crafts.
How good are you at treasure hunts? Have fun with "Puppy Christmas", the travelling game that takes you to discover Moena. You will have to search for 8 little animals of the wood that have hidden themselves in the most characteristic corners of the village. Info, tickets and kit at the little house of the Moena Events Committee or at the Fiabilandia playground (€ 5).
On Friday 23rd December and Saturday December 24th, you will also have the honour of accompanying Santa and his elves in a carriage through the characteristic neighbourhood of "Turchia" (chargeable, €3 for adults, €2 for children, from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m0, departing from the square "Piaz de Ramon").
