Fat Honey
The 26th edition of Dolomiti Ski Jazz, from the huts on the slopes, descends into the village to the International apres-ski bar in Canazei for a concert by rapper and saxophonist Lorenzo Sighel
From 8th to 17th March, the "jazz track" crosses the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme with concerts on the terraces of the refuges, in clubs, theatres and squares.
From Canazei to Cavalese, all the way to Cembra: the Dolomiti Ski Jazz proposes also this year as many as 24 concerts. Warm rhythms such as jazz, but also blues, funk and Latin music will create thrilling contrasts with the snow-covered scenery of the Dolomites. Artists from the international scene will perform in the evenings in the clubs and theatres of the villages, while during the day they will take to the mountains, on the terraces of the mountain huts, some of which can also be reached by non-skiers. The festival will move day after day from one slope to another, from the Belvedere ski area in Canazei to the Alpe Cermis in Cavalese.
Dolomiti Ski Jazz: Fat Honey. Bar apres-ski International (Canazei), Monday 11 March at 3pm
Programme: is an Italian music collective led by rapper and saxophonist Lorenzo Sighel. The formation grew out of the "Got it" and "Wuhan Wuhan" projects and produces a sound that combines the witty and provocative poetry slam of hip-hop with funk and jazz. A troupe full of irony and an unforgettable listening experience.
Music band: Lorenzo Sighel (sax), Michele Bazzanella (electric bass), Stefano Malchiodi (drums).
The concert is free of charge. Given the limited number of parking spaces, it is advisable to reach the venue on foot (closest car park is the Dòlaondes Aquatic Centre).
