Country fest of the three villages
The three nuclei of the smallest municipality in Val di Fassa celebrate their festival with typical dishes, lots of music and entertainment for adults and children alike
Mazzin, with its hamlets of Campestrin and Fontanazzo, has around 500 inhabitants. Situated at the valley's narrowest point, the view takes in the high walls of the Catinaccio d'Antermoia, the Sella group to the east, Cima Dodici to the south, and Col Bel opposite. It was once a land of mills, as well as being known as a village of painters and decorators who emigrated seasonally in search of fortune. On Sunday 2 July, the three villages celebrate their festival with a day full of music, exhibitions, children's inflatables games and many typical dishes at the "PalaDolomites" event pavilion in Campestrin.
