At table with the Fairy of the Dolomites
Gourmet week in which tradition, innovation and taste come together harmoniously in special menus offered by Moena's best five restaurants
From 17th to 22nd March, in Val di Fassa there will be "A tavola con la Fata delle Dolomiti" (At table with the Dolomite Fairy). The event, thanks to the restaurants Malga Panna, Foresta, Fuciade, Ostaria Tyrol and, from this year, Malga Roncac, united in the association "Ristora Moena", proposes five different gourmet menus imbued with the notes of the territory, flavours and scents of spring, enhancing a specific product. Also for this edition, number 28, tradition, innovation, refinement, imagination and creativity are skilfully blended in the dishes, accompanying diners on a sensory journey of taste, from starter to dessert.
The proposals by chefs and restaurateurs Paolo Donei (Michelin Star since 1993), Riccardo Schacher, Rossi Martino, Nicolò Scalet and Christian Tasser who, in addition to sharing the collaborative and promotional spirit of the Fassa region, all feature "Formai del Mas" (the cheese of the agritur/farmhouse El Mas, which also boasts "Puzzone di Moena Dop" among the specialities of its small dairy). There is truly an embarrassment of choice, so much so that the dispassionate advice is to taste all the menus and, perhaps, to draw up - nicely - your own personal ranking to compare with that drawn up by relatives and friends with whom you share the dining experience. Also of note is the promotional price, which varies between 75 and 95 euros, wines included.
