DoGa: from the Dolomites to Lake Garda by bike

A cycling route that will open up all of Trentino to you, bit by bit

ATTENTION: The opening of cultural and tourist sites, access to them, to public transport and to the services described in these pages is governed by the containment measures put in place by the government authorities and the Autonomous Province of Trento to deal with the COVID-19 health emergency. The rules may vary over time and provide for the application of different security measures — from closure, to social distancing, to the mandatory use of personal protective equipment such as gloves and masks. We therefore ask you to consult the section Travelling safely on this website and to contact the managers directly for updated information on how to gain access.

From the rocks of the Brenta Dolomites, once the cliffs of a tropical sea, to the clear waters and Mediterranean climate of Lake Garda. This is DoGa, a route through the Trentino biosphere, for you to cycle at your own pace as you explore areas with unique biodiversity and natural history.

It begins at the glorious mountains of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and crosses through four Alpine valleys before arriving in Riva del Garda, on the shores of that irresistible lake.

The cycle route is 110 km long in total, but you can also choose to take it one stretch at a time: pick out your stops and how long to spend there, decide where to sleep and what to visit, all with the certainty that you can rely on a rich network of facilities and services catering to cyclists.

DoGa is not just about the joy of a bicycle trip: it offers a unique and insightful perspective on the Trentino biosphere, at a relaxed pace, enjoying the gentle breeze on your face. DoGa: from the Dolomites to Lake Garda.
