We all know that walking is a gentle form of exercising with many benefits: it tones the muscles, it helps with breathing, lowering blood pressure and maintaining good mental health. Another perk of walking, that you might not be aware of, is that it boosts creativity. According to studies, taking a walk through nature helps with finding creative solutions to everyday problems. And it’s easy to see why: if you take a walk and stop to gaze out at the beautiful sceneries, like those from the top of Mount Mezzocorona, you can instantly feel your mind expanding and recharging with fresh mountain air.

A panoramic ramble

After a panoramic cable ride to the top of Mount Mezzocorona, take a moment to soak up the mind-expanding views across the Piana Rotaliana. From here, you can walk to Malga Kraun and be inspired by the creations of “La Magia del bosco”, an open-air gallery of wood carved sculptures.

Summer flowers radiate a special zing. This walking trail starts in Tremalzo, near Lake Ledro, an area in the Alps renowned for its floristic importance. Keeping an easy pace, you can attempt this short stroll in half-hour enjoying the splending views of the Adamello group in the backdrop.

Lake Tret in Val di Non, on the border between Trentino and South Tyrol, is a popular summer spot for locals and tourists. End this easy one-hour walk with a dip in the lake and after lunch continue to explore the area with shorter excursions.

The one for pushchairs

It takes around one hour and a half but this walk is one of the easiest and it’s suitable for walkers with pushchairs. Ride the cable car to the top and walk along the forest road across the pastures of the Alpe Lusia surrounded by the sceneries of the Parco Naturale di Paneveggio Pale di San Martino until you reach Malga Bocche. Breathtaking panoramas are guaranteed!

Easy and Scenic

An exciting route in the woods of Fai della Paganella, with spectacular, breathtaking views of eastern Trentino. After walking along the Belvedere footpath, you continue on a trail dotted with many panoramic spots. Not to be missed is the detour to the Grotta della Madonna (Grotto of Our Lady) and the wide terrace called Legenda dell’Orizzonte.
