Arriving in Trentino by plane

If you’re travelling to Trentino by plane, the nearest airports are Verona, Bergamo, Venice and Milan.

Choose the most convenient airport for you depending on the distance from Trento:

  • Verona “Valerio Catullo” is 90 km from Trento, reachable in about an hour on the A22 motorway. It has connections to Rome, Palermo, Catania, Cagliari, Bari and Naples, as well as major European cities.
  • Bolzano “Dolomiti” is the nearest airport to Trentino, just 57 km away. It hosts the flights of the regional company Air A!ps.
  • Venice “Marco Polo” is 163 km away from Trento. It has thousands of connections every week to the main Italian and European cities. You can reach Trentino in about two hours using the motorways (A4 to Verona and then the A22 northbound), or with the SS47 Valsugana from Cittadella.
  • Bergamo-Orio al Serio “Caravaggio”, 180 km from Trentino, is the main Italian airport for budget airlines. It has bus connections to the cities of Bergamo, Milan, Brescia and Monza, and has a range of car rental companies. You can get to Trentino in 1 hour and 50 minutes on the A4 and A22 motorways.

It is also possible to use the Milan airports of Linate (223 km, domestic and European short-haul flights) and Malpensa (265 km, intercontinental flights).
