Transports
The Trentino Guest Card gives you unlimited access to the Trentino Trasporti urban (Trento, Rovereto, Alto Garda, and Pergine) and extra-urban public transport network.
You can also travel on regional trains—the Brennero, Valsugana, and Trento-Malè lines—on provincial routes (journeys originating and ending in Trentino).
To travel on public transport, simply validate your journey using the Mio Trentino app. Here you will find the ticket to validate each time you use it, by scanning the QR code found on board the vehicles or at railway stations.
If you do not have a smartphone, ask for a transport card at the tourist offices or the facility where you are staying. This card must be validated on board buses or at railway stations and must always accompany your Guest Card.
NOTES FOR CORRECT USE
Guest Card possessors are entitled to travel freely throughout the province of Trento on both bus and train services provided by the provincial public transport system (bicycles may also be transported on vehicles equipped for this purpose).
In particular, the Guest Card is valid:
- on Trentino Trasporti Esercizio urban and extra-urban bus services;
- Sardagna Cable Car, Trento
- on the Trento-Malè Railway;
- on the Valsugana Railway between Trento and Primolano (both trains operated by Trenitalia and Trentino Trasporti Esercizio);
- on the Brennero railway between Borghetto and Ora (excluding the stops for boarding/alighting at Salorno, Magrè/Cortaccia, and Egna) to reach Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa.
Please note that ES, EC, IC, and Express trains cannot be used (even on the routes indicated above).
Possessors of the above card must validate their card each time they board a vehicle or at the railway station when using rail services.
