Experience the thrill of paragliding

For those who unable to keep their feet on the ground…

Have you ever dreamed of flying like an eagle, of reaching new heights, of gaining a bird’s eye view of the earth below? This is what paragliding is all about. No need for an engine, you ride the wind and relish the thrill of gliding over lakes, valleys, woods and mountains before returning to earth, landing gently in a luscious meadow with the desire to do it all over again. Paragliding in Trentino will take you over spectacular rocky landscapes, deep valleys, mountain hamlets and deep blue Alpine lakes.

Not so long ago, this sport was reserved for experts but now, thanks to tandem paragliding, you can launch yourself in complete safety, even if you’re only a fledgling. All you need is a decent pair of shoes and some warm clothes, the instructor will take care of everything else. Simply choose the launch site!

#1

Paganella

From Molveno, Deft or the Montanara area: choose your launch site and follow the wind! Below you lie the blue waters of Molveno lake and the green highlands of the Paganella, before you rise the jagged peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, then there’s the spectacular landing by the lakeshore.

#2

Panarotta

The lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo, the wild peaks of the Lagorai and in the distance the Brenta Dolomites. At an altitude of 1,500 metres and with its natural slope, Cima Panarotta and the launch site at Vetriolo are the perfect spots for admiring the entire Valsugana. You land in the green meadows of Barco di Levico.

#3

Col Rodella

The peaks of the Col Rodella and of Belvedere are the perfect launch sites for paragliders! Take off and travel through a mix of colours: the grey of the Dolomites, the green of the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme, the blue of the sky and the pink of the “enrosadira” on the mountains during your flight at sunset.

#4

Alpe di Storo

Take off from the Malga Alpo farmhouse or from Casai, fly over Idro lake and Bondone, one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy, and admire, from a unique point of view, the rocky peaks of the Adamello group that overlook the entire Chiese valley. Enjoy the spectacular landing on the shores of the lake at sundown.

#5

Doss del Sabion

The Doss del Sabion, at an altitude of 2,100 metres, is a perfect natural terrace for launching a paraglider. Your flight will offer splendid views across the valleys, mountain meadows, the town of Madonna di Campiglio but, above all, the spectacle of having the Brenta Dolomites at your feet!
