Easy to reach with a pleasant walk suitable for everyone, the archaeological site of Fiavé, in the area of the same name, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011. The area, which includes the southern slope of the Fiavé Biotope, an ancient glacial lake that has now become a peat bog, is characterized above all by the suggestive remains of the stilts dating back to 2,300 BC (and to which an adjacent museum is dedicated). Delving into this fascinating place you can discover the oldest traces of human presence dating back to the Mesolithic (about 9,000 years ago) and the testimony of the most significant settlements that are located later in the Neolithic and Bronze Age.
