We meet early in the morning at the base station of the cable car Colverde - Rosetta, where the guide is waiting for us. The excitement rises in unison with the cable car and in a few minutes we reach the splendid plateau of Pale, at an altitude of 2,700 meters ... we are raring to go!

The air is cold, but the warmth of the sun gives us the energy to start our adventure. After we placed the sunglasses and dressed the snowshoes, the discovery tour of this new field begins.

White dunes, which extend over an area of 50 km2, it seems that this paradise on earth is never ending. We go through the hills rolling at the feet of Fradusta glacier, our right of Passo Pradidali Basso, on the left we can see the Marmolada Glacier. After we take a few pictures we continue to walk, climbing up to the Cima Fradusta. One step after another, we reach the top and enjoy the stunning views it offers to us. The guide lists the names of the mountains, as if they were his children; his eyes reflect his passion. Going back is a real shame, but it's almost sunset and it is time to return to the village.
