Nordic Walking Park Alpe Cimbra

Opened in August 2006, the Folgaria Nordic Walking Park boasts 17 different, fully-equipped and properly sign-posted trails, including 3 technical training trails. Eight of them are located in Folgaria, while the other nine are in the Lavarone-Luserna area, at an altitude ranging between 900 m and 1650 m a.s.l. The park totals 6 blue trails, 8 red trails and 3 black trails. The training trails are located near the Ecken biotope in Folgaria, next to the Lake in Lavarone and in Millegrobbe district in Luserna. Organized according to difficulty level and orographic type criteria, the trails take walkers across a number of much prized, highly striking natural landscapes, which boast great historical-cultural worth. They especially make use of the former military roads used in the First World War and take visitors to the Austro-Hungarian fortresses of the Folgaria area, as well as to truly natural attractions such as the Eken biotope, Lake Lavarone, the Alpine area of Tablat, Luserna's wide forests and German/Cimbrian communities.
